Four decades of the LIK Academy represent much more than 40 years of photography, education and creativity. They are also about encounters, shared experiences and friendships created through photography.
To celebrate the 40th anniversary of the LIK Academy, Eric Berger invites you to a very special photography experience in Andalusia:
Four days. Four photography friends. One unforgettable experience at Casa España.
In an exclusive group of only four participants, we will explore Cómpeta and selected locations throughout the Axarquía with our cameras. We will photograph together, exchange ideas, review our images and enjoy four inspiring days among photography friends.
Photography, Friendship and Andalusia
This experience is designed for photographers who want to discover Andalusia away from conventional tourist groups.
The focus is not on a rigid workshop schedule. Instead, we will take time to observe, work with natural light and develop our individual photographic vision.
Cómpeta provides an exceptional setting: traditional white houses, narrow streets, authentic Andalusian life, dramatic mountain landscapes and the distinctive light of southern Spain.
Depending on the weather, light and interests of the group, the photography programme may include:
a photography walk through the white streets of Cómpeta
landscape and architectural photography in the Axarquía
a photography excursion by Land Rover
a visit to the historic village of Acebuchal
nature photography around Fábrica de la Luz
photography during the soft morning or golden evening light
joint image selection and personal photo reviews
The exact programme will be adapted to the weather, available light and photographic interests of the four participants.
Staying at Casa España
During the photography experience, all four participants will stay at Casa España in Cómpeta. Accommodation is provided in two double rooms.
This stylish Andalusian holiday home is not only the starting point for our photography excursions. It is also a place for conversations, image reviews and relaxed evenings together.
After a day with our cameras, we can review the photographs we have created, exchange experiences and enjoy the personal atmosphere of Casa España.

What Is Included?
The price is €400 per person and includes:
four days in Cómpeta
three nights in a double room at Casa España
accommodation for four participants in two double rooms
a personally guided photography programme with Eric Berger
photography walks and selected excursions
individual photographic guidance
joint image reviews
transportation to all locations included in the programme
return airport transfer from Málaga Airport

The following are not included:
flights and travel to Málaga
meals and drinks
restaurant visits
personal expenses

A Small Group and a Personal Experience
Each date is limited to only four participants.
The small group size allows time for personal conversations, individual photographic guidance and a shared experience without the pressure of travelling in a large tour group.
It does not matter whether you have been photographing for many years or have only recently started using your camera more creatively. What matters is your enthusiasm for photography, your interest in Andalusia and your enjoyment of sharing ideas with other photographers.

The price includes three nights in a double room, the guided photography programme, transportation during the programme and return airport transfers from Málaga Airport.
