What to Expect
Our women-only photo retreat takes place in the charming white village of Cómpeta, nestled in the mountains of the Sierra Almijara. It’s the perfect starting point for photographic exploration and personal slow-down.
📸 Monday – Arrival & First Photowalk
Arrival at Málaga Airport and transfer to Cómpeta.
In the evening, we explore the magical light and textures of the historic village streets during our first photowalk – a gentle start to connect with your surroundings.
🧘 Tuesday – Yoga, Creative Warm-Ups & Nature
Begin your day with a gentle yoga session, followed by a photo briefing with creative inspiration and hands-on exercises to ease into flow.
In the afternoon, we head into Axaquira National Park, where endless nature motifs await your lens.
🎭 Wednesday – Portrait & Mood Photography in El Acebuchal
A soulful day: In the mystical village of El Acebuchal, we dive into the world of portrait and mood photography.
This hidden gem offers poetic backdrops and emotional depth for expressive female portraits.
💻 Thursday – Workflow & Photo Picnic
After a shared breakfast, we review your work so far with an open and constructive workflow and image discussion.
In the afternoon, enjoy one of the retreat’s highlights: a photo picnic at the historic hydroelectric plant – Fábrica de la Luz. Nature, creativity and connection meet here in perfect harmony.
✈️ Friday – Departure
After a final coffee with mountain views, it’s time to say goodbye – with memory cards full of images and hearts full of inspiration.

In einer Zeit, in der die Sehnsucht nach Entschleunigung, Ausdruck und Sinn spürbarer denn je ist, bietet das Ladies Photo Retreat Andalusia eine kraftvolle Antwort. Vom 24. bis 28. November 2025 lädt diese besondere Veranstaltung Frauen nach Cómpeta ein – in ein weißes Bergdorf, das zwischen Tradition, Licht und Landschaft ruht.
Das Retreat richtet sich an Frauen, die sich fotografisch entfalten, ihre Sinne öffnen und ihre innere Kraft wieder spüren möchten – ganz ohne Leistungsdruck, aber mit professioneller Begleitung.
🌿 Ein Retreat für Körper, Kamera und Geist
Die LIK Akademie für Foto und Design hat mit diesem Retreat ein ganzheitliches Format geschaffen, das weit über Technikvermittlung hinausgeht. Im Zentrum steht die Verbindung von künstlerischem Ausdruck, Achtsamkeit und Körperbewusstsein.
Die Teilnehmerinnen tauchen ein in die Welt der natürlichen Fotografie – mit Kamera oder Smartphone – und erfahren gleichzeitig Entspannung, Sichtbarkeit und kreativen Austausch.

Die Gruppengröße ist bewusst klein gehalten, um intensive Betreuung und echte Gemeinschaft zu ermöglichen. Jede Frau darf ankommen, loslassen – und sich neu sehen lernen.

MONTAG – ANKOMMEN & EINTAUCHEN
Nach dem organisierten Flughafentransfer beginnt das Retreat mit einem stimmungsvollen Photowalk durch die Altstadt von Cómpeta. Der Blick wird geschärft, erste Motive gesammelt – und die Gemeinschaft wächst.
DIENSTAG – BEWEGUNG & BEGEGNUNG
Der Tag beginnt mit achtsamem Yoga, das Körper und Fokus öffnet. Danach: kreatives Photobriefing, technische Fingerübungen – und ein inspirierender Ausflug in den Axaquira Nationalpark, wo Licht, Linien und Landschaft verschmelzen.
Am Abend: Gelegenheit zur individuellen Massage – eine wohltuende Ergänzung nach einem aktiven Fototag.
MITTWOCH – NATÜRLICHKEIT IM FOKUS
Dieser Tag steht im Zeichen des Selbstbildes:
Im Make-up-Kurs für natürliche Fotovisagistik lernen die Teilnehmerinnen, wie wenig oft mehr ist – und wie sich das eigene Gesicht im Bild entfalten kann, ohne Maske, aber mit Wirkung.
Am Nachmittag: Fotoworkshop „Natürliche Porträts“ im mystischen Künstlerdorf El Acebuchal – eine magische Kulisse für authentische Frauenporträts, die unter die Haut gehen.
DONNERSTAG – EINKEHR & AUSDRUCK
Der Tag beginnt mit Bildbesprechung & Workflow-Analyse. Danach wartet ein emotionaler Höhepunkt: das Photo-Picknick am Wildbach bei der Fábrica de la Luz.
Zwischen Steinen, Wasser und Olivenbäumen wird fotografiert, reflektiert, gegessen und gelacht – ein Fest für alle Sinne.
Optional: Massage, stille Schreibzeit, Gespräche – oder einfach: Sein.
FREITAG – AUFBRECHEN MIT FÜLLE
Der Abschied fällt nicht leicht. Doch jede Teilnehmerin reist zurück mit neuen Perspektiven, voller Bilder – und einem gestärkten Selbst.
